Yeah, this is from a modified PXL that had a/v output jacks added to it. I then recorded using a camcorder. Recording on cassette tapes is more "authentic" in that the picture can be wavy and you hear the whirring of the tape motor. The biggest camcorder advantage though is that you can see exactly what you are recording + longer recording time. I know there is a spot in the other Soapbox movie I made where you can see me move the light filter because the picture wasn't turning out.
