why Richard Dawkins is mad at god"Richard Dawkins was born with only one ball bag, and unfortunately doctors around the world couldn't find a suitable match,so when Richard Dawkins heard about possible ET's on other planets, he contacted N.A.S.A(Need A Scrotum Agency) and asked them if they explored other planets, could they find him an ET (an Extra Testicle)

We're all actually atheists when it comes to the vast majority of gods humans have believed in and dedicated their lives to. I'm sure none of us are worried about Zeus throwing lightning bolts at us...

the part about things being so strange no being could understand... makes sense at first thought but then you realise that although there are infinite things in the univers (so you would think there would be no species smart enough to figure them out theres just so many variations) there are probably also infinite numbers of different life that might be able to. im shure in all the life there is one... idk no one does...no one on earth... unless...no...

I'm thinking a good evolutionary biologist could use evolution to prove God does not exist. Humans are a successful species and a key human behavior, from Egyptians to the modern day, is worshiping a deity in the expectation of a benefit. All that would be needed would be to show an evolutionary benefit of worship unrelated to a deity's existence. If you could prove such a benefit, then the deity is not helping the worshiper, and does not exist, at least in way the worshiper believes.

On the question of whether religion is detrimental to the species, to an evolutionist the question should be: Does religion have a positive or negative effect on an individual's ability to survive and procreate?Possible pluses:-Religion helps humans organize socially to survive and procreate.Possible minuses:-The religious are more likely to die in a war.-The religious are less likely to adopt new technology that would help them survive. |
