well of course the series hasn't remained exactly the same. its the basic gameplay that continues to remain the same. the sad thing is that Capcom believes a 3D version of street fighter ii will sell solely because its a 3D version of street fighter ii. street fighter ii was a completely new experience when it was first released, thats why it was so popular. there is nothing about street fighter iv that offers a completely new experience.

the game hasnt been the same, we had the street fighter alphas the street fighter ex's that everyone hated on because THEY were different, the street fighter 3's, plus we had the vs games. i think theres a lot to go around. a character in ex had a pole her name was Nanase, and many other original characters like Vulcano Rosso, Skullomania, Garuda, Doctrine Dark, and many more. i think the real problem is the scrubs that dont get to know the game enf.

and Guile's stage there looks really empty and bland. if this stage is finished then i have no idea what Capcom is thinking. Maximum Impact 1 stages look better than this. Heck, even Alpha 1 stages look better.

add weapons? like knives, tonfa, sai, katanas and poles? and why don't they change the gameplay just as an experiment for one game? street fighter has been the same since world warriors and people are getting bored of there being no real progression. its like saying new super mario bros. is far better than super mario galaxy because the DS game plays like the original 1985 game.
