This is my favorite version of All Along The Watchtover, even better than the Hendrix version. The one on Young's Road Rock is much worse.

miming?Fuck, is there any one else with a guitar like that who can make that sound? He's pretty unique. His timing is odd and slightly twisted, almost like a rock Thelonius Monk.

there is no doubt that the man is hitting every note every chord every solo he's to much of a musician to sit and dink around on stage in front of people he's grown up with and has endless respect, he treats them like his fans they get a full blown show

Are you saying that Neil is miming the guitar? Miming the guitar solos to a Bob Dylan song being played at a Bob Dylan tribute in the presence of Bob Dylan?

Now I am not a great Neil Young fan, normally his voice gets on my wick, but this is awesome and brave considering Mr Hendrix did the difinative version.
