The only tips I can give for manual is practice for like 3 hours straight. Once you get use to it, it becomes second nature as you go through turns. You have so much more control going into and coming out of turns being able to downshift sooner.

manual? I can't do manual, distracts me too much. Having to downshift gear while braking and keeping my line into a corner is impossible for me. Any tips?

np, check back on the xbox forum and I posted whic gears I used in tall the turns. It might help with your speed adjusyment.
