maybe it was because they needed to amplify the sound for the band. either that, or since its like a 10 minute song, they switch back and forth.

stop calling ppl names! Although the bass is an easier instrument to play than guitar, you can do a load of things with it. Its a very important instrument to the band, just as the guitar, the drum, and th mikes (lol).
