Bobby Goldsboro stole his lousy toupee from Soupy Sales at a Jewish bagel convention back in the early sixties...he sprayed a gallon of hair spray on it in an effort to make a Jew look more like a Mexican.

This song is so meaningful. Rare indeed these days. In the realm of other meaningful classics such as Annie's Song by John Denver, Abraham, Martin and John by Dion and Into the Night by Benny Mardones. Well, in my mind anyway. Sometimes cyber folks comment on Bobby's hair, clothes, sexual orientation etc, etc....I say just close your eyes and listen to the song. Great Post and Great Memories!!!!!
