I, like U, took it to mean craving love, but the lyrics are so cryptic & vague it's hard to tell. "Always someone marches brave; here beneath my skin" .... To me, it's like not being satisfied with any number of things...status quo, love, etc. Regardless of the meaning, the voice, the cadence, the instruments, the lilting sound--how they come together like they were always meant to be... satisifies & makes happy my heart & head (and ears!)!
