these guys r one of my top 3 bands,their music which is based on blues,country and later on brought electronic to their music,has gone beyond any conventional blues bands who ironically r from england,and play better blues than most of american bands,however saw them live in toronto on ear ly 90s with on every street album and they rocked,and too bad we dont get music like this any more

Yep one of the best..he is left handed but plays right handed, this may have something to do w/it, besides his musical genious

The guitar is a part of Mark Knopfler. Ive never known any player and there never will be any player that can make the guitar come alive like only Mark can.Long live Mark Knopfler.
