lol there is no possible way blues ended with hendrix, think of santana. think of buddy guy. hendrix changed music he didnt perfect anything besides his own style, and he defined robert johnson's style of rock and roll lol

As great as they were, the blues did not begin with Robert Johnson and end with Jimi Hendrix, but I get your point!Also, Clapton has said similar things about Robert Johnson, Freddy King and Jimi Hendrix (and quite possibly many others). I mean no disrespect to Buddy.

And we were lucky too in the UK. Buddy Guy & Junior Wells never missed the Hammersmith Odeon. Every year. That's Blues and inimitable. Great chaps.
