You're right, she's quite mesmerizing. About her voice type, I would say once she perfects her technique she would be a soprano.

You might be right. I do not know her. As I indicated in my previous comment, Anna just struck me. By no means I have asserted that she's the best Carmen. She just mesmerized me. Probably I am persuaded by her stage presence than her singing.

Her singing is just fine actually. She's got an unusual and undefinable voice. She's neither a soprano nor mezzo soprano but something in between...rather unique for better of worse. Very impressive rendition of Habanera at any rate. PS: Carmen is supposed to be sexy, so she fits the role perfectly.

Perhaps the reason why she does not perform so well musically is that she is too busy performing well as an actress. I believe she is an excellent actress in this piece. And -- forgive my stupid masculine remark -- she is very sexy too.

I am really in love (!) with this rendition of Carmen as well as Anna! LoL...Her voice is not that of classical exceptional coloratura soprano but so unique in many ways and rich that it appeals to me for some odd reason. Her stage presence is impeccable. Brava!

i love this version and love the voice of anna caterina!! i've seen many videos of different sopranos singing this song but i like this one the best
