I am coming from the opposite end of the spectrum and I am working on Art Tatum pieces(can't play them very well). So I've been working on my technique the last couple of months and I have finally decided to play this piece. I've memorized the notes of the first five pages of this piece, but I can't play it with much accuracy and speed as you. I basically have my scale technique around 200 bmp(16 notes). What do you have it at? 250 bpm?What do you do to your hand every day to get that good?
