The first requirement of a democratic process is that there is a level playing field for all contestants. This contest was billed as the world cup of singers. Amanat was winning by 2 million votes. Then for 2 hours only Indian viewers were allowed to vote. Why? I do think its great that India allowed Pakistani contestants to participate. But then they should have played fair. For an unbiased viewer Amanat was in a class of his own. He's only 20 but he's better than any male play singer today

The winner has been selected via democratic process. It seems that some autocratic people do not want to accept democracy. It is no wonder that many of them are from Pakistan - they are unfortunately only used to autocracy. I think that Pakistani people should appreciate that the Indian community is open enough to open the doors to people form a country that keep on killing our people via terrorism. For a Pakistani to call India racist is like a strainer complaining that a needle has a hole.

I think Duniya ki voice nahin balkay saregama pa ki voice. The True hero is and will always be Amanat. I ove the way he spoke when injustice was done. This is not about Pakistan or India this represents the patience of true person who is sure what he is,and among all the mentors i think Ismaiel Darbar as we have seen is biggest mentor and true jugde. |
