I bet it moved many old fans of this band. As for me, I don't really think think I have heard any of their songs (maybe just that "happy rock'n'roll" song was kind of familiar)...Nevertheless, nice video.

from what I know, Larry Norman was the father of Christian Rock. you can't get him on iTunes, but if you visit his site, you can still get his cd's he wrote Why Should the Devil Get All the Good Music as his biggest hit

Oh WOW do these songs bring back memories!! In the 80's I went to EVERY Petra concert that came to Colorado, even if I had to drive for hours!! Thanks so much for this trip down memory lane!!

Excellent "anthem" rock. I don't know if they're the authors of Christian rock, but this is a well-deserved tribute. They got mellow for a while, then turned more hard rock. I prefer the latter, but I do have one vinyl album of their from the early days. |
