Peggy the writer of this classic, knew just how to sing it, you have to be COOL, dont oversing, most of the covers oversing, pose, and just put too much junk in the lyrics and overexpress. she sings it crisp and clear, thats what gives it such fire.

Miss Missy, Peggy Lee was the dog (named Peg after her) AND she was the 2 siamese cats AND she was also the woman who owns Lady. She did all 4 voices, and also wrote the lyrics to the songs that those characters sing. Check her out in the video titled "Peggy Lee - The Siamese Cat Song -- Making of Lady and the Tramp" .:-)
