One thing that i always thought was a huge mistake is the coke in the bag is all "loose". I mean...any non-retarted drug dealer would become instantly suspicious if someone handed them half a kilo of loose cocain. It's supposed to be compressed. Even people buying grams expect to have some compressed chunks. If it isnt, that means it's been cut. I dunno....just one minor complaint.

Scene is absolutely incredible! The intensity of the build up is amplified 10 fold by the obnoxious firecrackers going off in the back-ground. The acting is top rate, especially the drug dealer character played by alfred molina.

I always loved this scene, one of my favorite of all films. It's really cinematic, well thought out, well executed...and yet almost halariously absurd in a way.

i agree that this is one of the best movie scenes ever. two of the bst 1980's songs back to back. this scene rocks!however, this scene refers to the drug robbery/murders from the wonderland murders involving john holmes. if you watch this movie and then watch the movie "Wonderland" with val kilmer you will see how this scene fits into the bigger story.
