God Eddie is incredible. God Michael is terrible.

The volume needs to be turned up, this music should be piercing your ears, not sounding like its far away. this is just a bad recording.

pretty awesome until they start playing at the same time, way to disorganized, jimmy herring recently covered this with widespread panic at the all good festial, fuckin epic!

Michael Hampton is nice on the guitar...but this is Eddie Hazel's baby...and he brought it into existence. I don't like the fact that Michael joined in on this one. He should have laid back..but of course George directed it...it's better when only one of them plays it though..be it Eddie or Michael..both are nice...but they should have let Eddie do it by himself. I'm most down with the P-Funk...I'm from Plainfield, NJ and I recall seeing Eddie when I was a kid. Peace

This is truely amazing. I thought I knew guitar playing. Then I saw this! Wow.By the way I think that Eddie is Buckethead's biggest influence.

I forgot to add -R.I.P. Eddie Hazel, one of the greats.

Michael Hampton is an excellent guitar player, but this is Eddie's song man. This song is by far one of the all-time greatest solos, it's the most beautiful, heartfelt, sad piece of guitar I've ever heard. Eddie had an innovative style all to himself, and not many guitarists can boast that.

Go head and stone me to death...but i think the Maggot Brain solo is overrated. It's cool...but one of the best solos ever-no. I love Funkadelic btw.
