I saw this tour back in '94 when I was just 11 and even though I loved JCS back then, too bad I wasn't the age I am now so I could thoroughly appreciate just how unbelievable these performances were. I still don't know too much about Ted, but he has one of the greatest rock voices in history. the way he shreds through the high notes at age 50 gives me chills and even the 1973 film version pales in comparison to it. this is a single performance to remember!

Personally, I like the band. Minimal band for JCS is a-okay as long as the musicians are good.And clearly they are.

They didn't have much of a budget on this tour. It got even smaller when the tour switched to non-equity. By the final years, they had only a piano, synth, drums, and guitars.
