in no where in the lyrics does it say, the guy is say or depressed. iguess it's all in one's interpretation. and the snail talks about how he dreams* about going to the ocean. and again the snail never tells him that he is sad.

the song is about this little snail who comes along everytime this guys is sad or depressed and the snail tells him that when he is sad he goes across the harsh world and goes to the peaceful ocean. he says even though no one else can see them, the snail can hear them. it's inspirational and tells you to overcome your fears and find peace and things can be beautiful even when times get rough.
