I agree as well, AbsoluteZ3R0-- Peasant's Wedding accounts for most of the piece's emotional concreteness... you can simply imagine a delightful wedding in a small village. I enjoy how quick and lively this version is!

This is a sypmhonic poem, not a song. And it is really not too fast at all. Czech people understand this music the best. I live near Vltava, I have seen sources of the river in the mountains and this composition describes the river in an unbelievable way.

Wow wretched? heh. I'd agree it was a little rough and did not flow...oh well perhaps they were nervous? Overall this is a great great recording. And the flutes did fine the rest of the piece. =)
