The first four metallica albums are thrash. And some songs from the black album like through the never. Just because they're popular doesn't mean they suck or aren't thrash. I hate that way of thinking. The newer stuff is hard rock and I can't even define st.anger's genre. Doesn't mean it's bad, it's just not metal.
