um, there is the memorization process in which you memorize the cube in cycles to solve the pieces. he knows hes done by when he finishes solving the cycle he had memorized before he blindfolded himself. this is true legit

Thats why he was looking at the cube before he started. He looks and remembers what needs to be done to the cube, then he puts the blindfold on and figures out how to do it as he go along.Tyson is a board member at the world cube association, he wouldnt cheat :)

i think he can peek from the bottom of the blindfold because he kept pausing n leaning over. but other then that. that was cool.but if he was really blindfolded. how did he know if he was done or not

I'm sure you can do it with one U perm, one A perm and a T-perm. Thats 3 algs ;)Also, if you switch your U-perm out with M' U2 M U2 (I wouldnt call that an alg) your down to 2 :) |
