I'll simply re-iterate. The Nitrogen foam occulusion method has already worked on a couple of coal mine fires. It would cost less than a billion dollars & would among other things cut greenhouse gases. Fact: If we put out all the worlds coal mine fires it would significantly reduce greenhouse gases quicker & more cheaply than what is now proposed.

Dang I was just about 15 or 30 minutes away from there...in Pottsville. I can't believe I missed it :( Oh well maybe next time.

i heard there is enough fuel there to burn for 1000 years. 40 is nothing to that unless for some reason we decide to put it out.
