I think the reason Kareena's peformance in Jab We Met was so awesome was because of the dialogue and the director's vision of her character - she was blessed with the perfect role to shine.. otherwise she's an okay actress - she seems fake in other movies, and doesnt do too many diff roles. I think she could've done a lot more in Refugee etc.. but her mediocre performances show her mediocre caliber. As for dancing, she needs to take some lessons. and lastly, I love Shahid too! =)
