that's so cool. how different is this dialect from mainstream italian? what a beautiful song. and thanks so much!

Correction: Andrea sings in Napolitan dialect, not Italian.

She sings in Portuguese, he sings in Italian, isn't neat? The song is called "The Sea and You" it's something like this. Dulce: To feel within, to feel whithin, that there is no reason for us to be alone. And in a long embrace, to feel the sea in our voice. To cry like one who dreams to always sail. Red sails of a love like this could make a boat lose its north. Andrea: My love, if the sea or you didn't exist, I wouldn't exist either. My love, love exists when we are close to God. My love.

2nd verse. Dulce: In your look, (there is) a water mirror, a life to navigate, through dreams and sorrow, but at least without goodbyes. And gently, perhaps in the foam of the sea, I'll find the light of your gaze. I'll follow that light, my love, a boat finds its north that way. Andrea: My love, if the sea or you didn't exist, I wouldn't be here either. My love, love exists when we are close to God. My love.

We are Ropmans and Visigotics, although I very appreciate the Arab influence in our culture.

I´m Portuguese. One part of us are Arab.We use some hundreds words with arabe origine. The Islamic influence exists today in portuguese culture, but it is only a part of ours culture. As portuguese, we are a mix made by Celtics, Iberians, Lusitanos, Fenicians, Greecs, and more recentley, Romans and Visigots. During the islamic ocupation, he have pay taxes to the muslams, but, as natives we had remained different, with little integration in the culture of the occupant.
