I fell in love with Charlie the first time I saw him. Wish he'd come back to town.

He showed up in Australia to join Bowie onstage for the Stooges' "I wanna be your dog" in 87....

Hey, I have had this video in my head for the last 20 years. I always wondered what happened to him. I also thought his guitar solos are very sexual. Maybe I am a freak... Anyway, I miss this style. His more recently,down-homey Americana style dissappoints me. I don't like his singing Bob Dylan-esque singing style. I liked his deep heart throbby voice.

And in 15 years people will be saying, "Man. Stank permeated everything in the dubble-ohs."

I think Charlie Sexton was this record labels answer to Billy Idol.

Any chance anyone has this song tabbed for guitar? I can't find it and I really wanna play this song. It's incredible, it took me quite a while to figure out what it's about, and it's now my alltime favorite song. Beautiful lyrically, I honestly have no idea why this wasn't a monster hit. |
