He really does have a Woody Allen thing going, but a classic Woody Allen character, not the man himself, strange.

Um. hello? This IS a commercial. It won a Clio award for advertising. It IS supposed to have comedic moments; it IS tongue-in-cheek.

I love that moment where Scorsese panics at the interviewer wanting to touch the sacred Hitchcock pages. Felt like a bit from a Woody Allen movie.

Take 80% of the filmmakers in the world now and ask him "Who do you think is the most influential filmmaker of all time?" - the answer is 'Alfred Hitchcock'. Thousands of people can make the 'alfred hitchcock style part' but what makes the film most interesting is that it was made by Scorsese and how he made a fool out of himself. As one of the greatest filmmakers ever, he is always there to entertain and surprise...:D

No. I think he is merely one of the biggest if not the biggest fan of Hitchcock. And to show his love to Hitchcocks talent in moviemaking, Scorsese made The Key To Reserva as he thinks he would have done it.
