To my fellow Americains. The surge IS going well. Sadly I must say the die is cast and we must now stay in Iraq.My heart goes out to those who have and will lose love ones. My hope is that someday we can bring MOST of the troops home. My fear is that in the future our government will use hype and lies again to rally us into a war. My present concern is that because of this unpopular war a Hype of a different type may put an arrogant pup in the Whitehouse promising to get us out of Iraq.

I don't think he's going to win either but we are in for very rough times if he does. the debates should be very entertaining!

Obama will not be elected as president of the United States. The press has attempted to hype his candidacy, and yet the lackluster McCain continues to poll even with him. Experience is an important component to a candidacy for president. I think Americans would even elect John Kerry or Al Gore over Barack Obama. Some people are fooled by the words hope and change when spoken with a preacher's cadence, but most thinking people require a resume before they will vote for a particular candidate.

Obama said he joined forces with a republican to round up loose nuclear weapons.W h a t l o o s e n u c l e a r w e a p o n s ? He makes it sound and look like there are rooms full hand held nuclear weapons.The only weapons he wants to round - up are handguns, form law-abiding citizens.That way the criminals won't get shot when they rob them.
