"In April 2008, just two months after releasing Metal Mad, they decided to go on hiatus, when drummer Munetaka Higuchi was diagnosed with liver cancer. " Goddamn! I hope he gets better soon.

These guys sound like a Japanese version of Iron Maiden. I Can't believe i've never heard of them. Good Stuff.

Loudness is a seriously talented band that has been grossly over looked and unappreciated for the last 15 years! I can say that because that is how long ago it was when I saw them in San Francisco. One of the best live shows I have ever seen!

hehe man... I saw this band in concert, in Montreal Canada in the 80's ... not sure , I think around 85... that's a F** while ago. I was actually underage like 14 y old. I remember they had an amazing drive on the stage. It was at the Spectrum, a now closed concert hall.

Nope, the video is from 2001 when the band reformed into original line-up. It's from DVD called The soldiers just came back. Since then, they released several new albums and DVDs. They still rock like hell :D

Great to see Loudness again I was a metal head in the 80's. Saxon and Loudness were great to see in a small place, I saw Loudness at the country club in reseda CA in 1983 and saxon at the Whiskey in Hollywood 1982

I've yet to hear a technical rock guitarist with a singer I could stand to listen to for more than a few minutes. If someone knows of one feel free to tell me cause speed metal would rock with some good dark(ish) vocals. |
