Never Neverland - Peter Pan

So the comment comes up a lot about why the lyrics are "second to the left" when it is clearly supposed to be "second to the right". We luckily, Scott Alan commented on my video about this when it became an issue. He says, "Thank you so much for this beautiful video. So happy your hard work is being noticed. Just to clarify, there is a line in the song that says 'Thats the story as I recall,' and that is why the lyric was originally 'second to the left' ...cause it was in the script for Piece ...but that confussed people, so as this demo was done a few years back, the new version is now, as theycallmemimi has mentioned, second to the left and straight on till morning, or was it second to the right.' ..."So thank you for your close observation of this song and my video!...Lyrics!!!She'd tell me about Captain Hook and all of his menwho followed Peter with a hook replaced as his hand.In those tales bad guys seldom did winso the Captain was eaten and Wendy had twins.Well that's the story as I recall,but I may have made up the end.I don't remember much at three feet tall except for when I'd say Mom,Let me go to Never Neverlandand let me fly for one day,an throw that fairy dust in my hairso I can pretend I'm flying away!I'm flying away.Well to my surprise I grew up to fastand that easy life of Tinker Bell never did last.So I silently dreamed my self far far awayso that I could be immortalized like Peter one day.And that's my childhood as I recall,though in some ways it never did end.Now I'm standing, well, a little bit taller.Except for when I say,Mom let me go to Never NeverlandLet me fly for one day andthrow that fairy dust in my hairso I can pretend I'm flying away.I'm flying away.And though life is never easyas we as children read in the bookswhere fairy dust could just fly you so far away.All I ask is that you leave me my imaginationso I can pretend I'm flying away.I'm flying away.And this is where I'll stay,Right here in Never Neverland.I'd be flying, I'd be dying, for love and apprieciation.Where Mermaids would sing and Fairies would ring.Right down here in Never Neverlandand it's second to the left and straight on 'till morning.Yes its second to the left and straight on till morning.In Never Neverland.In my Never Neverland....This is my first video I made.
