I'm sorry TLakht, but my comment was also meant as a spoof. I took it for granted that no one could take the extra editing seriously. I just thought Spock Rock was really funny. I did not intend to make this laughable clip sound like a bona fide Star Trek episode.

No, it IS a spoof. Several things are different from the original episode, including the music. If you watch "Weird Star Trek - The Way To Eden 6/8" ( /watch?v=hszX-8-gt1I ) from about 02:54, you'll hear what the music really sounds like. But the episode is still really weird, no doubt about that.
