their are still great Melodic Death Metal bands, like Kalmah (I'm sure most of you have heard of them) Insomnium, Eternal Tears of Sorrow.

I concur. Old In Flames had that awesome black metal quality to it...Whoracle is SICK. Jester Race was ill too.

Come Clarity was great but thier latest album simpley sucks...I miss the Whoracle/Colony times...

Emo? Nah. It just strikes me as over-produced, poppy, radio-ready, hard rockish, almost-metal.

The only In Flames album I'm disappointed in is the newest one...don't know what they were thinking.

I love how Mikael, likes to dress up and wear really nice close and then sing death metal.I wish they would play more song from the Mind's I album at there concerts |
