At 3.23 when the acoustic intro of play dont worry starts playing I get a lump in my throat, my fave Ronno track !!It saddens me that Bowie gets a slagging when Mick is discussed and sadly some of it I have to agree with but the bottom line is they were great for each other and together with the Spiders produced some of the best rock music ever. RIP Ronno !

Mmm, actually Bowie had already written the song "Ziggy Stardust" before he and Mick even started really playing together. The Spiders from Mars existed in a song before they existed as a band.And, so says Mick Ronson himself, he and Bowie stayed friends after the band broke up. They were never enemies, they played the odd stint together several years after Ziggy, Bowie didn't steal anything from him.Misinformed slander on the internet gets you nowhere when you haven't done your research.

As a musician/composer Mick Ronson was VITAL to the Bowie sound of that era...and contributed so much to Lou Reed, Mott The Hoople and Ellen Foley. I saw him perform in Toronto with Ian Hunter; marvellous!!!

bowie didnt give him credit for much at all, and yer it is true about bowie stealing his ideas/concept. didnt even stay in touch with Ronno after he had fleeced him.RIP MICK RONSON

he stopped playing with bowie basically cos bowie nicked his spiders from mars concept and he went with it for a while, ronson came up with all that stuff bowie stole it and he the end he got fed up with having no credit for it and quit playing with him. simple as
