I completely agree with you on energy issues and mocing towards better efficiency - hell, just so we can compete on the world market is a good enopugh reason. I'd like to ask you to remember that the UK/British Petroleum (BP) has controlled Iraq oil since the 1920's. Why would we invade a country over oil that the UK already has authority over ?

Well I'm running for election for the 'back to the forest' movement. We are going to destroy every piece of technology invented since the industrial revolution, strap on loincloths and run into the woods to form small agricultural communities! whos with me??
