My people!! Please Lets LOVE Ourselves For the shades we are! I Love all of you we share (even honorarily) Brown skin! your unique individuality is what makes you handsome and beautiful. The beautiful tones that grace your outer-layer are just the icing on the cake. you are amazing if nobody else told you listen now. light to dark brown we need to unite and give ourselves the respect and unity we all need to strengthen ourselves and the generation of strong brown skinned people to come.

I'm Black and Puerto Rican and Choctaw.I used to hate that my skin was so lightbecause at school , to everyone I wasn't really black unless my skin was darker.I used to hate my skin my hair my face everything.I hated being mixed , but after listening to her music I see myself as unique and I'm happy with who I am.

Don't try to be someone else. be yourself. i think getting tanned is a waste of time.
