I'm formulating a theory here - percussion and bass very Jesus and Mary Chain. Nothing new under the sun. Native Scottish influence. Nothing wrong with that though -early Simple Minds, The Skids, Orange Juice, Delgados,Teenage Fanclub- they are all there. The more I listen the more I hear a distinctive Scottish theme that's never had the commercial success it deserves.Or does that matter? No. Musical integrity means more.
