machine head (old geezers and never were good) throwdown (pantera rip off) devil driver (gaywod that sang for a Korn rip off band)........lookie here Mastadon are prog metal pioneers, i.e. check out the new Neurosis (whom Mastadon sounds like), or High on Fire, Goatwhore, Meshuggah (right on that one), Opeth, The Faceless, just about anything on Relapse records (that is the new metal direction)...check out Liquid Metal on XM if you want modern metal brother!
