of course that's what makes them "legends" the hit songs they have, but the bands you mentioned were also remembered for the different sound they brought, like Nirvana will probably always be remembered for transitioning the 80's style of music into "no-frills grunge".

Yeah. I wish it was true though. I mean I don't know if there will be anyone more modern that will be remembered for decades to come. The only ones you hear about now are Metallica, AC/DC, Pantera, Stones etc. But I believe these bands are overrated, which is the exact reason they've been remembered this whole time. There are a few ok songs from them, but nothing exraordinary like they're all hyped up to be. |
