um actually every religion does try to convert people so by a technicality all religions are infact cults... at least from the point of view of the other religions..

Why do theists have to prove anything? If I believe Rowan Atkinson is the best comedian in the world, I don't have to prove it. A religion is not a cult. Religions don't try to recruit non-believers to follow their cause. You don't believe in God. Someone else believes in God. It's not up to either of you prove or disprove the other person's beliefs.

It's not a comeback. I'm merely pointing out that God is not something we can "prove" or "disprove". That's why religions have faith.

savenor it doesn't work that way, the one who makes the claim has to prove it. Atheism is the default position, we don't have to prove anything. You make the claim that God made everything so you have to prove it.
