I'm a New York liberal, lol.But, they are stories that are exclusive to America--they are stories that can only happen in America, hence the term, "American original."Her writing, is very much about modern American culture, particularly how it relates to sexuality. Also, she's from America! What was I gonna' call her? A Hungarian original?:}

What I meant was that.. terms like "American original," as opposed to, "great original," are a substitution of your country pride for the greatness of an individual person.
