What precious memories I have of her! During the 3 years I spent in Tokyo, it was my pleasure to see her on tv many tims; each time I heard her fantastic voice, I wish I could spend hours listening to her. I have her last video at the Tokyo Dome during the final stage of cancer--what courage! Her funeral procession was shown on tv all over Japan and the entire nation was in mourning. Truly a national treasure of Japan. I miss her deeply.

正直、「悲しい酒」は余り好きな曲ではないんだが、この時の、このひばりさんの歌だけは、泣けて泣けて仕方がない。これが最後になるだろうと覚悟して、噛みしめながら歌っているのが伝わってきて、堪らなく涙が出る。素敵な歌の数々をひばりさんの歌で聴けて、そしてこんなに素晴らしいものを沢山遺してくれて、ひばりさん、本当に有難う、と言いたい。我々聴衆のために個人としての幸せを捨ててくれたその歌手としての生き様に、胸が詰まる。

A profoundly moving, heartbreakingly beautiful performance by the Empress of Enka! As far as I'm concerned, no one but Piaf herself could sing a torch-song like Misora-san. I am sure The Little Sparrow and The Beautiful Skylark are singing duets in Heaven that the angels themselves envy.

okay(geez), my mistake, it was one misplaced letter! its obvious to everyone that you love this artist very much and that as a fan you are "standing up and fight for what u believe" and blah blah blah. however, would you take a look at what kind of foot prints you've left on her song? just count how many insults you've made on this video. most of them weren't even necessary! i feel sorry for the artist now, its clear that you've done more damage to her than to protect her! fight all u want!
