Apparently on one of the (many) occasions Bill quit smoking a journo asked him why(given his pro smoking stance). His reply? - "To see if Denis would".... Hmmm. Denis was VERY funny doing his own material but when you check out the similarities as you did it all comes out eh? Can I recommend his biog by Cynthia True , "American Scream"? There's a reference to D.L. in there too which is an eye opener (plus it's a great read if a little sad towards the end) I love Bill. He ruled.

Well, the verdict is in. I've been watching both Bill Hicks' and Denis Leary's material for the past few days, and conclude that Leary definitely used alot of this material in '92, which is a several years after this was done.

i dont think the mullett is a fashion that changes with time. whenever i go to the states i am presented with quite a few mulletts. here in northern ontario the 'hockey hair' will never die.im english, and therefore have not seen many true mulletts in my life.but i do disagree with you sir... i believe bill hicks COULD see the future. he just wasn't paying attention to the frivolities of future fashions, he looked at the important stuff, 'with a squeegeed third eye!'
