yeh it is be really easy, just set up ur eee in the bios to boot from cd-rom in the bios. and then follow the onscreen instructions when its loaded the installer from the disc.

Yup. It's so easy the retarded police man could do it. Its um... actually a lot less painful than installing Windows. Its not that it's difficult installing Windows - its that it takes a long time screwing around installing things. Ubuntu is pretty much automated, and smarter all-round.

could i install ubuntu on my eee pc by just connecting a cd drive and put in hte ubuntu disk and boot it and install it? would it be that easy?
