You're absolutely right mr.lopejr1972.Its good to be in a drumcorps but it is also good to get an education and finish it at the same time.I read that you're from Boston, the home of the Crusaders of DCI.They're a great corps too.

ianbroudie, I am presently living here in the US for more than a decade but my heart is still with the group. Maybe someday I would visit PI and watch them perform. I'm so glad to see them again.

Yajeec810 I know both of them co'z I used to be their co-member from 1987-1992.I played bass drum and jess was already an assistant conductor and musical arranger while Tirso is talented and aggressive member with goals but it paid off coz' of his hard worked. My AKA name before is Mangaldan coz' i was the only 1st member in this town.I'm not a music lover but I enjoyed myself playing music with them. Honestly, I used my head using the band just to finish my education and it also paid off.

MR. Caragay is the bandmaster. Mr. Mirador is used to be one of musical arrangement contributor and is no longer with avantguard.

I read from a comment hear that Mr.Jess Mirador is the bandmaster of this corps.But a former member of this corps also told me that it's Mr. Tirso Caragay who's the bandmaster of this corps.Can anybody from Avant Guard clarify who's really the bandmaster of this very promising corps?You have a very impressive hornline and nice sound too.Keep it up!Thank you and good day to Avant Guard.

Hi mr.lopejr1972 A former bass drum player of this corps told me that their bandmaster is Tirso Caragay, a former soprano player from the University of Luzon.By the way, your name sounds familiar. Was there some point in time that you also marched for Ship 3 Trozo DBC?Thanks and Good day.

Yes, it's Jess Mirador with the AvantGuard. He was so involved then but when people from UL dbc asked him, he denied it. Maybe because the UL dbc especially the bandmaster hates the AvantGuard.
