Buen ejemplo de resonancia, y se produce en relación a todo lo que vibra o que tiene ciclos, y me he dado cuenta que pasa en las relaciones humanas, dos personas que vibran similar necesitan el mínimo de esfuerzo para llevarse bien, sin embargo es fácil de que la relación se quiebre cuando se somete a algún esfuerzo que aumenta el nivel de vibración mas allá de lo bueno o tolerable, como cuando se saturan los parlantes o como cuando el columpio deja de moverse en forma pendular y cae bruscamente

Ok, it is not the effect of the sound on the rice that you are seeing, it is the plate resonating and forming the patterns, but they ARE fascinating. The rice merely illustrates the vibration pattern of the plate. Or did you know that? Not trying to be a know-it-all.
