Two different experiences. They wil both trip you out visually, but internally, they're worlds apart. Shrooms are very 'lax, and you'll be happy just lying in the dark with music playing or in your backyard. Acid is a lot more edgier, and it's a VERY different pace. Not more 'powerful', persay, but in my opinion, it's more demanding mentally. And if not careful, can steer you in the wrong direction quick. Don't get me wrong. Personally, i prefer acid over anything, but it's pretty intense.

look, if you're searching for a buzz, that's one thing. This isn't a toy you're fucking with, it's a life-changing ride. go for the mushrooms, but remember, do something positive with this, because it's a tool; there's nothing worse than some dumb ass looking for fun and taking this for granted. Do yourself a favor and use acid instead of abusing acid. Acid is way more powerful. Listen to Jimi Hendrix's "Third Stone from the Sun"- oh yeah! You'll never look at music the same

The "One with nature" comment reminds me very much of a experience I had while I was once stoned on pot while having a walk in the forest.It was one beautiful experience. I didnt have visions, but the forest was beautifuler, and the feeling of oneness was there... magnificent feelings...

I've heard that LSD, real LSD, not the shit they sell pretending that's some but actually a chemical mix of shits, is WAY more powerful than shrooms in a extremily tiny dose, and also, less nocive in a way, because shrooms can be toxic, but real LSD from the ergot is not.

Thanks for the advise. I have one last question though. Are magic shrooms any better than LSD? Or is LSD more powerful? (it'll be easier for me to get shrooms than LSD)

Do some thinking on what you want to experience, have some good music for the occasion-I suggest Pink Floyd's Ummagumma or something of that era. Have a guide to talk to you if things get crazy. Look for GOD, he's in the dimension your mind will be in. He really is. Look at flowers, look at impressionist art, stay away from alcohol and don't let the monsters catch you or they'll hurt you. I know.....been there, done that

I used to do marijuana and hash a lot but ive been trying to stop for above a month now. I have heard about psychedelics before and i am really interessted in having a psychedelic experience. But at the same time it sort a sacres me: having hallucinations and all that. Has anyone who has already taken LSD have any advise on wether i should try it or not? given that i'm only going to try it once for the experience...

Just ask around someone will always know a guy. Make sure its through some one u trust though. I take it it'll be your first time so u really should read up on it just to prepare urself for what could happen. And have an experianced sitter with u. And definatly don't go to school unless u wanna get expelled. Be smart about it u don't wanna freak out in the middle of class:)
