Two hands would've beat him... AA or A 10. Not that that changes what you're saying though. Would've been a tough laydown.

What a crap of talking. Dont tell me you would lay down a flopped full house. Hudson could get beaten only by this one Hand thats why he played strong. It was just an unlucky move that Sammy had this one better hand on this right time. 99,999 Percent i repeat 99,999 % of all our players would playing this hand as strong as Hudson did. It would be incredible if someone Laying down the 2nd best hand after flop.

I've always been a Sam Farha fan! It ain't what you got even if it's the nuts, it's HOW you PLAY the hand to get the most money out of it. With that flop/board this is one that's usually very difficult to really cash in on unless the other guy has the upside down boat like Hudson & without enough experience to read Sammy & get away from the hand like he should've. It's tough to lay down a big hand but it's worse when you stay against your better judgement & get felted (busted out)! VNH SAMMY!

There is no doubt Hudson could have gotten away from the hand. This was the first hand of the tournament. As soon as Farha raised on 4th, Hudson should have folded regardless of his holding. Perfect example of playing a tournament hand like its a cash hand. Even a reraise after Farha's raise would have been okay, but a call there and you either check it down or bolt, especially against a premier player. |
