he has 6 assists more than halfway in mickey mouse mls league this season.in his top years for man utd, he regularly had 20 plus.he has lost pace and many of his crosses lack the lethal precision he hadin the past.he scored only one free kick in this mls season against the shortest goalkeeper in the mls.you should not place beckham with ronaldinho, zidane, maradona and pele. gerrard is a better tackler than beckham.his right foot has only aged and lost its touch.

Beckham's right foot only got better now, watch how much free kicks he scored and HOW many assists he made at LA Galaxy and briefly for England. And Gerrard IS THE best player on earth. He can play everywhere, tackle, shot, ball control, passing, all dead-balls, from defending to attacking and creativity, compusure or leadership, HE IS THE BEST. Maradona, Zidane, Ronaldinho, Pele or whatever CANT play in defense, Gerrard CAN.
