Most historians, atleast those who were not impacted by vietnam, see LBJ as one of the greatest domestic reformers of the 20th century. Sure vietnam dragged his legacy, but actually take a look at all the laws he passed during his presidency. Most of them are being used today! aka medicare, poverty reforms, and the 1964 civil rights bill. |
