I like the idea of the EU but I think it is unfair on our people. Its great that European countries are wrking closer together but the citizens need ways to influence how it is run.

Wow, someone with common sense! This is what alot of people have been saying all along! The only thing is declaring independance isn't as easy as it seems. For Great Britain, that means loosing allot of vital trading partners as well as damaging the economy for Euro tax on non european imports. This is the start of something bad, im telling you now.

EU for live. People who marks equal between EU and soviet union must be out_of_reality freaks. Polish society life in communist and post communist country and we see a lot of doctrinal and life differences in EU now. Word from Poland.

Yet, precisely, they are no longer Marxists.Otherwise, remember that the unification of Europe was strongly supported by the US since WW2 (sometimes on false assumptions); and strongly opposed by the communists.Thus, the EU is anything but "Marxist".

Agreed - the word you may be looking for is Nationalism. Dangerously blind, and what the USA has been in the thrall of for some time now. Top down corruption is what is crushing all the good out of the US. |
